INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
• Assist the Project Director and Project Manager and have to perform technical Support, technical analysis, GIS mapping, data collection and presentation, report production and related activities to project.
• Assist the Project Director for preparation of Master Plan related works and prepare necessary documents.
• Assist the Project Director to take over the relevant documents prepared by consulting firm according to ToR.
• Assist the Project Director to take over the transport modelling data, survey data, field verification and other related works.
• Assist to coordinate with other relevant Transport Agencies for information collection, project updates, drawing collections.
• Provide administrative support for maintaining the Technical schedule, arranging meetings, translating language, and providing logistical and general office support.
• Attend selected meetings and take notes or assist with presentations; and
• Provide such support to officials of the project as may from time to time be required.
• Assist the Project Director in procurement related works. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
• Have bachelor degree in Civil Engineering/Urban planning or equivalent (with major in transport) or Masters in Transport Planning/Engineering with 5 Years experiences in the relevant field.
• Have an understanding of principal urban transport issues, particularly public transport and road traffic management issues, in major cities in Bangladesh and be prepared to work with independence to conduct research.
• Have advanced abilities to obtain and display geographical and other data with high presentation standards.
• Have strong skills of personal organization and administrative abilities.
• Have high standards of spoken and written in English. |
