INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Ensuring transparency and accountability in procurement management
Developing procurement plan for the project in consultation with PMU and the partner implementing agencies
Monitoring and updating the procurement plan on a continuous basis
Preparing Procurement Documents of the project
Supporting in pre-bid/ pre-proposal meetings, opening meetings and bid/proposal evaluation committee meetings
Guiding and advising the concerned government officials involved with procurement
Reviewing and anticipating potential issues on procurement and bringing to the attention of the PD
Monitoring and keeping track of the deliverables during the implementation of goods/works/consultant contracts
Building capacity and transferring knowledge to TMED, MEWOE, MoI, and MHFW staff involved in procurement
Any other task assigned by the project management

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
At least Bachelors in Engineering, or Masters in Procurement or other procurement relevant fields.
Professional certifications/degrees in Procurement from any recognized institution will be given preference.
At least 15 (Fifteen) years’ experience in carrying out public Procurement with primary responsibilities and substantial content of his/her position in the practical application of internationally accepted procurement and contracting procedures and documents for goods, works and services
Of which at least 05 (Five) years’ experience in managing internationally competitive procurement of large scale under projects funded by multilateral organizations such as World Bank/ ADB/AIIB
