Brief Description of Assignment |

The candidate having professional qualified Accountant from IFAC enlisted professional institute (i.e. CA/CMA/ACCA) or The Candidate Must have MBA/ Masters in Finance/Accounting Degree from a well-recognized University, and minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience. Reciprocal certification will not be considered as educational qualification.

At least a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.

Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

? Minimum 15 years of working experience as Financial Management in the area of Government/ Semi-government organization/ International Development organization of which minimum 05 years of experience as FMS in World Bank and GoB -financed project, and fully conversant with large contract payment, GOB budget, fund release and reporting formalities, knowledge regarding rules and regulations for budgeting, accounting, financial reporting and auditing of World Bank’s fund operating conditions & reporting requirements. Is fully conversant with Computerized Accounting System and has the ability to assist in implementation and customization; Skills in software installation and troubleshooting will be added advantages.
? Proven track record of ability to develop a Chart of Accounts and designing accounting hierarchies; befitting the relevant computerized accounting system and the reporting.
? Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to work independently as a team player and under pressure.
? Strong interpersonal communication skills, experience in team leadership and participatory management.
? Ability to impart training to the project staff on financial management system.
? ? Experience working in customer relations preferred.
? Ability for establishing and maintaining good working relationships to facilitate work goals.
? Demonstrated results-oriented approach to work.
? Strong communication skills in presenting, discussing, and resolving difficult issues. Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
? Minimum ten (10) years of experience in the field of development communication, media communication, social media management, awareness, content development, branding, promotion, national campaign;
? Extensive experience working in a similar position with GOB projects and donor-funded projects;
? Experience in leading at least 2 successful national campaigns targeted to create mass awareness or change behavior/ attitude;
? Strong understanding of local IT-ITES industry and practical experience in ICT industry promotion (B2B event, seminar, digital media campaign) for the global market;
? Strong knowledge and working experience in different types of content curation, digital media platforms as well as traditional media;
? Working experience in the field of ICT for Development and understanding about Digital Bangladesh vision will be considered as added advantage;

? Overall 5 years of experience in the ICT sector in different technological initiatives.
? At least 3 years’ of experience in the field of Intellectual Property Rights (IP) & Patent Management.
? At least 2 years of experience in research and development (R&D) at a private or public organization
? Experience in working with the Government sector / Development partner organizations will be given preference.
? Proven experience in patent drafting, filing and acceptance by the Patent Office.
? Certificate from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) regarding the General Course on IP, Basic Patent Drafting, and Patent Information and Search.
? Experience in coordinating technical workshops, challenge competitions and training.
