With reference to the subject matter and documents as aforementioned, this is to notify you that, the Procuring Entity has decided to give this NoA for delivery, printing and 1st Issuing of an additional 42,250 (In words: Forty-Two Thousand and Two-Hundred and Fifty) pieces of Rapid Pass (FeliCa IC) Card bearing a value BDT. 99,28,750/- (In Words: Taka Ninety-Nine Lac Twenty-Eight Thousand Seven-Hundred and Fifty) in the same unit rate, Terms and Conditions of your Tender dated 15.06.2023, which was submitted for ‘Procurement of Rapid Pass (FeliCa IC) Card, SAM (Secure Access Module) and Associated Service’ and had been accepted and approved by the Procuring Entity.
Therefore, you are requested to:
i. accept in writing this NoA for Additional Purchase within 2 (Two) Working Days of its issuance but no later than 20.02.2024.
ii.
(a) submit an additional performance security in the form of Bank Guarantee of BDT. 9,92,875/-(In Words: Taka Nine-Lac Ninety-Two Thousand Eight-Hundred and Seventy-Five only). Mentionable that, the amount of the revised/extended Performance Security would be BDT. 44,57,500/- (In words: Taka Thirty-Four Lac Sixty-Four Thousand Six-Hundred and Twenty-Five Only) in accordance with PPR-2008 Clause-27(1). It is 10% of the amended/revised Contract Agreement’s Value which is BDT. 4,45,75,000/- (In Words: Taka Four-Crore Forty-Five Lac and Seventy-Five Thousand).
(b) The Beneficiary would be same as before which was ‘The Project Director, Establishment of Clearing House for Integrating Transport Ticketing System in Dhaka City and Adjacent Districts (Phase-II) Project’.
(c) The deadline of submission of this revised/extended Performance Security within 2 (Two) days of accepting this NoA for this Additional Purchase-2 but no later than 25.02.2023.
iii. sign the 2nd amended Contract Agreement in lieu of the Original Contract Agreement within 7 (Seven) days of issuance of this NoA for Additional Purchase but no later than 25.02.2024.
iv. supply all the listed goods, additional goods and complete related services by 01.03.2024 as per the original contract agreement.
You may proceed with the execution of the aforementioned amended Contract Agreement only upon completion of the tasks bearing Serial-(i) to Serial-(iii). You may also please note that, this Notification of Award (NoA) for Additional Purchase will constitute the formation of the amended Contract Agreement, which shall become binding upon you.
