Like in the last year South Asia Procurement Innovation Awards 2017 have been launched.

South Asia Regional Public Procurement Network (SAPPN), the World Bank and Procurement iNET have launched the South Asia Procurement Innovation Awards 2017.

Case stories from Government and Public Sector Procurement organizations, entities, universities, research institutions, NGOs/CBOs etc. have been invited for the award.

For submitting case stories the site https://www.procurementinet.org/sapia/index.php can be visited.

The Case stories have to be made online at https://www.procurementinet.org/sapia/index.php latest by 31st December 2017. The South Asia Procurement Innovation Award (SAPIA) 2017 will see bigger and better prizes than SAPIA 2016. This year, in addition to the eight country awards to be won, there will also be an opportunity to win two regional winners, making it a bigger platform to showcase the innovative practices demonstrated in the public procurement arena.

The country winner will get the opportunity of participating in the South Asia Regional Procurement Conference 2018, Delhi, India while the Regional winner will have the opportunity to participate in the eighth International Public Procurement Conference, Tanzania 2018. The winning cases will receive individual trophies and case studies will be published.
