As part of enhancing knowledge and skills at the decision making level, a total of 173 officials ranging from additional secretaries to secretaries of various ministries and divisions got orientation on public procurement management until March 31, 2017.
CPTU provided the orientation through FINEUROP SUPPORT in a total of seven courses under Component-I of PPRP-II supported by the World Bank.
Director General of CPTU Md. Faruque Hossain moderated all the sessions, made presentations and gave clarifications to queries of senior government officials.
The last and seventh such orientation was held at the Conference Room of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works on March 30, 2017 with its Secretary Md Shahid Ullah Khandaker in the chair.
Secretary of IME Division Md Mofizul Islam was also present at the orientation. A total of 25 officials attended the orientation on the day.
The venues where earlier sessions were conducted include Cabinet Division, Road Transport and Highways Division, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Local Government Division etc. |
