Objectives of the Assignment: To strengthen capacity of the users in e-GP system, DIMAPPP will mainly focus on enhancing the scope of training of officials of newly enrolled government agencies officials. In light of the proposed training, the project objective is, to improve public procurement performance through electronic government procurement. The e-GP training program will continue with some adjustments and scaling up procurement to cover all procuring entities under the procuring agencies and Tenderers enrolled in e-GP portal.
Scope of Services:
e-GP systems has built with state-of-the-art information and communication technologies including fully automated functionalities, they are just one important part of a government’s e-GP program. The other part may be even more important, namely the human resources that manage the e-GP program, make relevant decisions, define processes and use the system. So major capacity development and awareness requirements need to be addressed both at PE’s from NSPSO’s and Tenderer’s end as well as with the participating banks. Therefore, the major services to be rendered by the training firm is the development of appropriate training programs for the target user groups and providing training of e-GP users as mentioned below:
