INFORMATION FOR TENDERER

| Eligibility of Tenderer : |

"Any individual firm of Bangladesh having valid Trade License, latest IT & VAT registration & fulfill
the eligibility & qualification criteria as stated under and in the Tender Document.
a) For Operation and Maintenance of Desalination and Water Treatment Plant:
i) The minimum years of general experience of the Tenderer in Gov./Semi Govt./Autonomous body
as Contractor shall be 05 (Five) years.
ii) The minimum specific experience as service provider in operation & maintenance of membrane
based desalination plant having minimum capacity 400 m3/hour of at least 01[one] number
contract successfully completed within the last 3 (three) years in Gov./Semi Govt./Autonomous body.
iii) Must have ABC supervisory licence from Bangladesh electrical licencing board.
iv) Having experience of installation/Repair/Modification of HDPE pipeline - diameter upto 315 mm
with own Butt fusion machine in Gov./Semi Govt./Autonomous body.
v) Having experience of installation, testing & commissioning of membrane based desalination
plant, capacity: 400 m3/hour in 3 (three) years in Gov./Semi Govt./Autonomous body shall be
added advantage
(b)For Supplying Spare parts of Desalination and Water Treatment Plant:
i) The minimum years of general experience of the Tenderer in Gov./Semi Govt./Autonomous body
as supplier shall be 05 (Five) years.
ii) The minimum specific experience as service provider with Spare parts in operation & maintenance
of Membrane based desalination plant having minimum capacity 400 m3/hour.
iii) Must have adequate stock of spare parts mentioned in tender schedule required for maintenance
of desalination & water treatment plant. Import documents must be provided for membrane &
pumps with the tender.
c) For Supplying different types of Chemicals for Water Treatment and Treated water testing:
i) The minimum of years of general experience of the Tenderer in the supply of Goods and related
services in Gov./Semi Govt./Autonomous body as supplier shall be 05 (Five) years.
ii) The minimum specific experience as Supplier in supply of food grade Chemicals filter for desalination plant
of at least 01[one] number contract successfully completed within the last 3 (three) years with a value
of at least Tk. 580 lacs in Gov./Semi Govt./Autonomous body.
iii) Must have analytical, chemical & biological testing capabilities of treated water of a desalination
and water treatment plant.
d) General:
i) Must have qualified Microbiologist, chemist, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, electrician, plumber, Butt fusion operator as per tender document.
ii) The required average annual turnover in the last three years proceeding in the date of submission of tender shall be greater than BDT. 20 Crore.
iii) The minimum amount of liquid assets or working capital or credit facilities of the tenderer shall be 10 Crore.
iv) Must fulfil the conditions in TDS.
