| Brief Description of Assignment |

The main objective of the study is the agricultural development of the study area which would ultimately contribute to the country’s economic growth and upgrade the living standard of the people in the project area. The study aims to rehabilitate low lift pump irrigation projects, expand surface water irrigation facilities, efficient irrigation networks, expand irrigation command areas, ensure connectivity and conserve water and drought management. It also involves conducting an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment for proposed interventions. Interested consulting firm may obtain further information from Terms of reference (ToR) at the office of the procuring entity upon written request. It is also available at BWDB’s website: https://www.bwdb.gov.bd/ and BPPA website: https://cptu.gov.bd/. |

Interested consulting firms should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services. The EOI will be evaluated based on the following: a) Registration and Legal Entitlements of the Firm (Trade License, TIN, VAT Registration, etc.), b) Company Profile, Organizational Structure, Logistics and Availability of Permanent Key Professional Staff, c) Average Annual Turnover (Audited Financial Statement for the last 5 (five) years), d) General and Specific Experience of the firm(s) in Similar nature of service/work (Bathymetric and Topographic Survey with Analysis for FCD/FCDI projects, Complete Feasibility Study of projects having command area more than 500 ha, Hydro-Morphological modeling of River System, Surface Water Modeling with irrigation, flood and drainage management, Surface water irrigation network development and related structure design, Groundwater modeling, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment of FCD/FCDI projects etc.) over the last 10 years.
Consulting Firm may associate with other firms to strengthen their qualifications, but should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of a Joint Venture (i.e. all members of the joint venture shall be jointly and severally liable) and/or Sub-consultants. Each firm's specific tasks and obligations must be outlined in the joint venture agreement. In case of joint venture, it is preferable to limit the maximum number of firms within 03 (three) in an association including the lead firm.
