Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
MIS Officer: Manages data on project activities, ensuring accuracy and reliability for monitoring progress.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Knowledge Management Officer: Oversees monitoring, evaluation, and knowledge sharing processes to track progress and capture lessons learned.
Training and Logistics Support Officer: Coordinates logistics for capacity-building initiatives, ensuring smooth training delivery.
Country Programme Support Officer: Facilitates capacity-building for IFAD partners through training, workshops, and support. |

The individual consultant for the assignment should have to meet the following requirements:
(i). Training and Logistic Officer: (a) Master’s degree in Business Administration, or in a relevant field such as education, social sciences, or a related disciplines; (b) Proven experience in training coordination, logistics management, or event planning; (c) Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands; (d) Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and online collaboration tools; (e) Knowledge of training methodologies, adult learning principles, and instructional design concepts is desirable. (ii) MEK and KM Officer: (a) Master's degree in a relevant field such as development studies, social sciences, statistics, or a related discipline; (b) Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing M&E systems and processes for development projects or programs; (c) Familiarity with M&E methodologies, tools, and software, such as logical frameworks, results frameworks, and statistical analysis software (e.g., Python, SPSS, STATA, S etc.); (d) Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools.
(iii) MIS Officer: (a) Minimum Bachelor degree or equivalent in information technology, Computer Science and engineering, Software Engineering or other relevant disciplines; (b) Software Engineering Certificate with extensive years of Management Information Systems (MIS) experience may be accepted as an added value; (c) A minimum of five (05) years’ relevant work experience in development of Project Management Information Systems; (d) At least two (02) years’ experience in Visual Basic, SQL server databases including programming languages like Python, R, Java etc. as fashionable in present time; (e) Have experience in application of GIS; (f) Experience in installing and supporting network segments for both LAN & WAN is an asset; (g) Knowledge of Administration of Databases using Microsoft SQL Server is an asset; (h) Experience in IT based survey using Monkey Survey, KOBO tools etc.; (i) Experience in designing, developing website as well as database driven web applications. (iv) CPS Officer: (a) Minimum master’s degree in civil/water resources/ environmental engineering, Economics/Finance/ Business Administration/ Development Studies/Gender & Women Studies, Project Management, Communication, and allied subjects; (b) Should have a minimum 10-year work experience in development projects, of which at least 5 years in mid-level managerial position, preferably in foreign funded projects (c) Preference will be given to candidates with experience in training management, knowledge management, communication, production of training and communication materials, evidence of coordination with multiple agencies etc.
