| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The service falls under the project, which focuses on "Skill Development of Youths for Employment." This initiative aims to enhance the vocational training of 1000 women youth (aged 18-35) in Jute Fiber-based Bag and Box/Case Making, Embroidery, and Beauty Care marketable skills. The project area targets individuals from impoverished backgrounds, with priority given to those from poor families, though not necessarily from extreme poverty. Implemented across Kurigram, Jamalpur, Gaibandha, Lalmonirhat, Nilphamari, and Rangpur districts, spanning 90 unions in 25 Upazilas, the project seeks to equip youth women with non-farm skills essential for employment and entrepreneurship. The ultimate goal is to empower them with marketing skills, facilitating their transition into self-employment or wage-based positions. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

The service provider/training institute for the assignment should have to meet the following requirements:
i) Have an extensive experience in providing relevant vocational skill development training;
ii) Working experience with government agency/foreign funded project will add an advantage
iii)Preferably NGO-MFIs have partnership with the Palli Karma Sahayak Foundation (PKSF);
iv) Experience in selected area will also give advantage.
v) Should have RTO from BTEB/NSDA for above mentioned trade courses.
iv) Should have adequate logistic facilities and managerial capacity to provide discerned training;
vi) Interested NGO-MFI/Service Provider are requested to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services. Brochures will also include the registration number with MRA and TIN and VAT number, updated trade license
vii) Organizational Capacity such as Office Space, Permanent/Pay Roll staffs information, logistic facilities etc;
viii) The financial capability shall be shown as Financial Turn Over supported by a registered Audit Firm for the last three years. |
