INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The overall objective of this consultancy is to monitor ecosystem health of the Sundarbans specially to collect and analyze data of selected physical, chemical and biological parameters for long time ecological monitoring of the Sundarbans mangrove forest for sustainable management. Other details are available in the Terms of Reference (TOR) of the assignment. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
• Minimum 10(ten) years of proven work experience in the field of natural resources survey/research activities in the Sundarbans or mangrove forest areas of Bangladesh.
• The Firm should have Legal Documents: (i) Registration of Firm, (ii) Updated Valid Trade License, (iii) VAT Registration Certificate, (iv) TIN Certificate with update Income Tax Return Certificate, (v) Bank Solvency Certificate, (vi) Last Year’s Audit Report, (vii) Annual Turnover of last 3 years, (viii) JV agreement/letter of intent (if applicable).
• The Firm should have valid Government registration/ approval with experienced office staffs and dealing the professional consultants.
• The Firm should have experience to implement at least 3(three) research/study works related to the Sundarbans ecosystem. |

• Interested firm must provide documents (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, capacity, logistics etc. in support of their experience and qualifications demonstrating that they are fully qualified to perform the services along with the EoI.
• Interested Firms are requested to submit their EoI in 2(Two) sets, 01 (one) original & 01(one) duplicate in a sealed envelope and externally marked title of the Service must be on or before the specified date and time
• Only Short-Listed Firms will be allowed to submit RFP (Request for Proposal). The detailed Terms of Reference (ToR) for the assignment is available in the website: www.forestwest.khulna.gov.bd or may be collected from the Office of the procuring Entity inviting EOI. |
