| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Assignments in brief :
a) A major objective of this assignment is interministerial coordination regarding different component of the project , beyond the scope of the project but aligned with national goal and overall implementation plan of the government regarding ‘My Village-My Town’ implemented by other agencies. The other objectives are sustainable capacity building of LGIs, overall project supervision etc.
b) Coordination of activities of the investment project outsourced to different firms/ research organizations with help from respective consultants.
c) Coordination of inter-ministerial activities to ensure review, inputs, feedback, and approvals/alignment with government/ministerial partners on project issues, deliverable progress, and results for the success of the Project.
d) Provides inputs to LGIs functionaries, LGED officials, ministerial officials, consultants, and stakeholders for efficient capacity building and operational support activities.
e) Establishes solid working relationships with LGIs and critical stakeholders and supports the Project as a 'Local Governance Expert.
f) Support to build the capacity of relevant functionaries and local government officials by involving them in the project implementation and monitoring activities of the Project
g) Actively interact with LGIs and the Pilot Village community to share case studies, lessons learned, and best practices on the Knowledge management System.

- Excellent writing/Reporting Skill Dhaka. Frequent travel to anywhere in the country is expected. |
