| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA) – a member of the World Bank Group – for financing the cost of the Enhancing Digital Government and Economy (EDGE) Project, being implemented by the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC). BCC intends to apply part of the IDA Credit for procuring the services for consulting services to be procured under the project. |

Project Manager/Specialist - Center for 4IR Operational Support (Contract Package No: EDGE-IC13A)
B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / B.Sc. (Engineering);
08 years of working experience in the field of e-Governance/ICT;
Solid organizational and multitasking skills;
Strong communication skills in presenting, discussing, and resolving difficult issues;
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Policy Development Specialist (Contract Package No: EDGE-IC27A)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or Information Systems Management;
At least ten (10) years of general experience out of which four (4) years as a Policy Specialist in Government or development partner funded projects;
Working experience in similar position with ICT and eGovernment projects will be preferred;
Strong administrative and analytical skills;
Strong communication skills in presenting, discussing, and resolving difficult issues;
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a multidisciplinary team;
Project Associate (Contract Package No: EDGE-IC41A)
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications in project management or related discipline;
At least 3 years working experience in a similar position;
Fluency in written and spoken both English and Bangla;
Excellent ICT & computer skills;
Strong administrative and analytical skills;
Ability establishing and maintaining good working relationships to facilitate work goals;
Demonstrated results-oriented approach to work.
The duration of the assignment will be 42 (forty-two) person-months. However, the duration of the assignment may be increased or reduced according to project needs and budget.

Enhancing Digital Government and Economy (EDGE) Project now invites eligible applicants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Applicants are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (complete CV with details as required). The consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in World Bank’s Procurement Regulation for IPF Borrowers (July 2016, Revised November 2017, August 2018 and November 2020).
Interested applicants may obtain the Terms of Reference (TOR) from the office of the EDGE Project during office hours or download from the website www.bcc.gov.bd.
Expressions of Interest (EOI) must be submitted in written form in the address below (in person or by mail or by e-mail) by April 30, 2023 within 2.00 PM and be clearly marked “Expression of Interest for position of …………………..”. In Addition, the applicants are requested to submit workable soft copy of the CV to facilitate the evaluation of received EOI.
