| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The main objectives of this consultancy services are:
1) Updated, modification and necessary correction of Geotechnical guideline design template for different soil improvement design (PVD, SCP, Stone column, Geo textile/Geogrid installation, Dynamic compaction etc).
2) Carry out investigation for subsoil and embankment foundation that leads to pavement failure.
3) Prepare complete report with necessary ground improvement design and drawings on field investigation and submit it to the Executive Engineer, Soil Investigation Division.
4) Provide the Necessary design & drawings for all types of protections works such as CC block, palisiding, guide wall, toe wall, retaining wall etc.
5) Provide suggestion and detailed report on embankment failure, slope protection which includes remedial measure design, explaining all steps. |

Geotechnical Engineering Team
01) Post Title: Senior Consultant, Relevant Experience & Qualification-• Masters in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical). PhD in relevant field is preferred
• 15 (Fifteen) years general experience
• At least 10 (Ten) years experience in relevant field (Ground improvement, ground stabilization, soil-structure interaction, foundation engineering/ Geotechnical engineering etc).

02) Post Title: Junior Engineer, Relevant Experience & Qualification: • B.Sc in Civil Engineering. Post-graduation in relevant field is preferred
• At least 02 (Two) years experience in relevant field (Ground improvement, ground stabilization, soil-structure interaction, foundation engineering/ Geotechnical engineering etc).

ii. Experience in preparing soil related manual and soil related test report.
iii. Experience in investigating soil related subgrade failure.
d) Summary of relevant professional employees with key qualifications.
