INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Senior Mechanical Engineer (National Individual Consultant): 1. To review the load calculation and layout plan of HVAC system design prepared by PWD.
2. To receive and verify the work program for total HVAC works of project and monitor the HVAC system installation work accordingly and ensure quality and standard of the product and work to be delivered.
3. To supervise and certify testing, commissioning and balancing of completed HVAC system.
4. To prepare Technical Specifications and Cost Estimates of goods and related services related to Electromechanical works.
5. To make provision of protective arrangements including fire fighting and fire hydrant system.
6. To liaise and coordinate with concerned Electromechanical design wing of PWD, Concerned Architect of Department of Architecture, Interior Designer, Sr. Electrical and Electronics Engineer and other respective consultants regarding execution of Electromechanical works whenever necessary.
7. To monitor installation of Planetarium Theatre, Digital and Scientific Exhibits, Immersive Adventure Simulations Theatre, Observatory Telescope and other equipments in proper location.
8. To prepare compliance report for supplied equipment and accessories related to Electromechanical works.
9. To assist acceptance committee providing necessary information/recommendations.
10. To prepare As built drawings, collect and manage Catalogues & Operation Manuals of said Electromechanical equipment & works.
11. Any other related works and services as per instruction of the project authority.

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
1. At least Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree.
2. At least 10 years general experience in relevant field.
3. At least 07 years field level specific experience in Electromechanical works. Experience in consultancy service in related field will get preference.
4. Having experience of preparing and supervising at least 2 HVAC system implementation/ composite Electromechanical solutions for multipurpose buildings/ Plant/Installation of Machineries.
5. Computer literacy in MS-word, MS-excel, MS-Power Point, Auto-CAD etc.
6. Skills and proficiency in English and Bangla language. |

1. Interested applicants are requested to submit their EOI in accordance with the provide information as per the format provided in Standard Request for Application (SRFA) indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (complete CV in Prescribed form with other details as applicable).
2. Detailed Terms of Reference (ToR) along with SRFA will be obtained from the websites www.novotheatre.gov.bd or from the office of the under signed during the office hours.
3. The applicant shall submit supporting documents in favor of their experience and qualifications along with SRFA.
4. Expression of interest (EOI) shall be submitted in person/postal mail/E-mail/courier service by 5.00 PM on 05 -09-2022 in envelope delivered to Project Director and be clearly marked EOI for Senior Mechanical Engineer (National Individual Consultant).
5. The procuring entity reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Expression of Interests (EOI) without assigning any reason. |
