| Brief Description of Assignment |

The Rose Garden Palace is a witness of history and built in an unparalleled architectural style. Rose Garden is a historical building. Many important events related to the independence of Bangladesh took place in this building. The Ministry of Cultural Affairs took this project to conserve the building, establish a museum and represent it to the nation. This establishment will bear the testimony of a nation’s struggle for independence to the generations to come.
The main purpose of this service is but not limited to-
• conduct necessary research, study, survey, produce documents and reports of Rose Garden Palace;
• assist and give proper instruction for the conservation of Rose Garden Palace;
• assist in establishing Dhaka Metropolis Museum;
• plan and design to revive the Bengal Studio inside Rose Garden Palace;
• provide technical assistance on all kinds of civil works, drawings, plans, drainage designs and electrification
• help designing the landscape and arboriculture
• research and document the historical aspect of Rose Garden Palace |

• Interested Consultancy firm must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services
• The Consultancy firm should have necessary experience of delivering these kinds of consultancy service
• The Consultancy firm must have the following experienced personnel-
a) Acoustic/interior designer/ specialist
b) AC designer/ specialist
c) Architect for designing of Retaining wall, boundary wall & Security room
d) Architect/ developer for land development & Arboriculture design
e) Heritage Conservation Specialist
f) Expert for Museum work
g) Senior Electrical Engineer
h) Historical aspect & interior of the Rose Garden Palace
i) Political aspect of the Rose Garden Palace |

• The EOIs will be reviewed on the basis of the following to prepare the short list
1) Registration of the firm;
2) Legal establishment of the firm, TIN, VAT registration, Trade License etc. ;
3) Brochure of the consulting firm summarizing their area of expertise;
4) General & overall experiences of the firm (limited to 03 pages);
5) Average annual turnover of the firm during the last 05 (five) years;
6) Summary of professional employees with key qualifications, (including academic qualification and experience adequacy to perform the assignment);
7) Organization’s Organogram and logistic support capacity;
8) Experience in similar tasks over the last 5 (five) years (limited to 03 pages).
• Interested Consultancy firm will be required to submit the EOI (one marked as "ORIGINAL" and other as "COPY' in separate envelope, both the “ORIGINAL” and “COPY” shall have to cover within a single envelope) to the address below before the EOI closing date and time. Upon receipt of the interested firms those are deemed best suited to perform the assignment will be shortlisted. Thereafter request for proposal (RFP) document will be issued to the shortlisted firms. The consultancy firm will be selected based on Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method in accordance with the procedures set out in the PPA 2006, PPR 2008 of GOB and its subsequent amendments. |
