INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

Brief Description of Assignment : The overall objective of the assignment is to support the Project Management Unit (PMU) in the LGED for the implementation of the proposed ADB-funded Coastal Towns Climate Resilience Project (CTCRP). It includes (i) ensure to practice and enforcement of development control regulations that factor in natural hazards considerations to minimize destruction of infrastructure; (ii) assist to establish revenue management system and prepare road map on revenue enhancement; (iii) support to carry out property, tax, document efforts and achievements made and also identification of non-tax revenue sources to be identified and facilitate to increase it at least equal to the official inflation rate; (iv) conduct assessment on training needs for capacity building of the low-income communities for diversifying livelihoods for increasing their resilience to climate change and natural disasters; (v) take measures for raising public awareness, behavior change, and community mobilization enhanced in light of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) & any cyclones; and (vi) prepare & submit the completion report along with of whole project area of 22 Paurashavas considering green building design concept all documents. LGED invites eligible consulting firm(s) with adequate experience in institutional capacity and community development and administration. The assignment location will be in selected 22 Pourashavas in coastal areas along with 2 (Khulna & Barishal) regions and project HQ of LGED, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required : According to the uploaded TOR in Consultant Management System (CMS), Asian Development Bank.
