| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The overall objective of the assignment is to support the Project Management Unit (PMU) in the LGED for the implementation of the proposed ADB-funded Coastal Towns Climate Resilience Project (CTCRP). It includes (i) ensure high standards of quality assurance in execution and completion of work within stipulated time limit; (ii) comprehensive supervision of project implementation activities carried out by the contractor(s) to ensure complete compliance with the drawings, technical specifications and various stipulations in the contract documents; (iii) monitor safeguards implementation includes environment, social, gender, health and safety activities associated with the project; (iv) prepare & submit the completion report along with of whole project area of 22 Paurashavas considering green building design concept all documents including review & approving as-built drawing to be submitted by the Contractor; and (v) ensure quality control of all construction works by engaging in full time supervision engineering team. LGED invites eligible consulting firm(s) with adequate experience in project management and administration; construction supervision and quality control; and O&M planning and support. The assignment location will be in selected 22 Pourashavas in coastal areas along with 2 (Khulna & Barishal) regions and project HQ of LGED, Dhaka, Bangladesh. |
