| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Individual Planetarium Consultant (International) (Package: SD-1):1. To assist Project Authority to select modern Planetarium System and Simulation Theatre by providing technical, financial and service quality related information available in international market
2. To prepare Technical Specification, Standard Tender Document, Cost Estimate for Planetarium System and Simulation Theatre selected by Project Authority
3. To clarify different queries in selecting stage and Pre- Tender meeting if needed
4. To assist Tender Evaluation Committee if needed, to prepare BoQ and Draft contract document
5. To calculate electrical load and related information for Planetarium Equipments
6. To monitor the construction work of Inner and Outer Dome for synchronization with Planetarium System
7. To monitor installation, testing, commissioning of Planetarium System and Simulation Theatre
8. To prepare compliance report on arrival of the supplied Planetarium Equipments and Simulation Theatre and its accessories as per technical specifications
9. To assist acceptance committee by preparing check list as per technical specification and BoQ with necessary recommendation
10. To prepare As built Drawings
11. Any other related works and services as per instruction of the Project Authority.
Individual Exhibits Consultant (International) (Package : SD-2): 1. To assist Project Authority to select modern Scientific and Digital Exhibits explaining, background, theoretical aspects and probable learning outcome for the visitors
2. To prepare Technical Specification and Standard Tender Document and Cost Estimate for procuring the Exhibits selected by Project Authority
3. To clarify different queries in selecting stage and Pre-Tender meeting if needed
4. To assist Tender Evaluation Committee if needed, to prepare BoQ and Draft contract document
5. To prepare layout plan and calculate electrical load for the Exhibits
6. To monitor installation, testing and commissioning work for the Exhibits
7. To prepare compliance report on arrival of the supplied Exhibits and its accessories as per technical specifications
8. To assist acceptance committee by preparing check list as per technical specification and BoQ with necessary recommendation
9. To prepare As built Drawings
10. Any other related works and services as per instruction of the project authority.
Individual Observatory Telescope Consultant (International) (Package : SD-3) : 1. To assist Project Authority to select modern Observatory Telescope by providing technical, financial and observer’s interest related data available in international market
2. To prepare Technical Specification, Standard Tender Document, Cost Estimate for Observatory Telescope selected by Project Authority
3. To clarify different queries in selecting stage and Pre-Tender meeting if needed
4. To assist Tender Evaluation Committee if needed, to prepare BoQ and Draft contract document
5. To calculate electrical load and selecting the appropriate position in the roof top for Observatory Telescope
6. To monitor installation, testing and commissioning work for Observatory Telescope including base/dome construction
7. To prepare compliance report on arrival of the supplied exhibits and its accessories as per technical specifications
8. To assist acceptance committee by preparing check list as per technical specification and BoQ with necessary recommendation
9. To prepare As built Drawings
10. Any other related work and, services as per instruction of the Project Authority.

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

Individual Planetarium Consultant (International)(Package: SD-1): 1. At least Masters Degree in Physics/Astronomy/Computer Science/related discipline or B.Sc. Engineering Degree
2. He must be Fellow of the International Planetarium Society
3. At least 10 years general experience in related field;
4. At least 07 years specific experience in installation of Planetarium System. Experience in consultancy service in related field will get preference
5. He should have experience of installation at least 03 (three) new Planetarium.
6. He should have a good command in Computer literacy e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Auto-CAD
7. Skills and proficiency in English language.
Individual Exhibits Consultant (International) (Package : SD-2):1. At least Masters Degree in Physics/ Astronomy/ Computer Science/related discipline or B. Sc. Engineering Degree
2. At least 10 years general experience in related field
3. At least 07 years specific experience in leading role of selecting and setting of Scientific and Digital Exhibits with satisfactory operation
4. Experience of setting Scientific and Digital Exhibits at least 3(three) Science City/Science Museum/Modern Amusement Park
5. Should have knowledge in Computer Programming and Knowledge in 4.0 IR will get preference
6. Computer literacy in MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Power Point, Auto-CAD etc, 7. Skills and proficiency in English language.
Individual Observatory Telescope Consultant (International) (Package : SD-3) : 1. At least Masters Degree in Physics/ Astronomy /related discipline or B. Sc. Engineering Degree
2. At least 10 (ten) years general experience in related field
3. At least 7 (seven) years specific experience in optical observational astronomy/instrumentation of reflection telescopes/in related field
4. Experience of installation of at least 3(three) Observatory Telescope
5. Experience as Scientific Officer/Executive officer of any well known science center will get preference
6. Computer literacy in MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Power Point, Auto-CAD etc.
7. Skills and proficiency in English language. |
