INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |

SASEC Dhaka Sylhet Corridor Road Investment Project is jointly financed by Asian Development Bank ADB) and the Government of Bangladesh GoB). The main objective of the project is to improve the existing Dhaka–Sylhet section of National Highway No. 2 (N2) into 4 lanes with SMVT lanes on both sides.
Under this project, RHD is going to appoint Internal Auditor to carry out the internal audit of the project activities throughout the project period on a semi-annual basis following the national standards of auditing.
The objectives of the internal audit are to (i) review the adequacy of the project financial management arrangements, and (ii) provide the project management with timely information on financial management aspects of the project to enable appropriate corrective and follow-up actions. | Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

The interested consulting firm must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant firm having a valid practicing license from “The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB)”.
Should have preferably a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience related to auditing in public /private firms, preferably, in the development sector.
Experience in preparing accounting and audit statements/reports for large projects, preferably in foreign and/or donor-funded projects is preferred. |
