INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT
|
| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The selected firm will perform the following assignments: (i) Identification of approximately 66,250 herbarium sheets (with photo) with the information collected through field survey under the project at the species/variety level within the time frame prescribed by the project authority; (ii) In case of identifying the specimens, care must be taken to ensure that no specimen is damaged and identification should be done without carrying out the specimens outside the BNH building under any circumstances; (iii) Providing hardcopy and softcopy of a computer-composed list of identified specimens; and (iv) To follow other instructions given by the project authority. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

Experience: (a) The consulting firm must have minimum 10 years of general experiences; and (b) at least one specific experience in must have at least a practical experience in the work of identifying plant specimens through plant taxonomic research.
Resources: (a) During the course of the project, the interested firm must have a team consisting of the following professional members listed on their payroll: Team Leader - 01; Accounts Officer - 01; Plant Taxonomist - 15, Computer Operator 01, Office Assistant - 01 (Details qualifications & experiences of professional members could be known from project office); (b) The Consulting Firm must have an office in Dhaka City Corporation area with a total area of 1000-1200 sq.ft.; (c) The selected firm must have adequate number of computers, internet facilities, and logistical support for plant identification work; (d) The firm must have liquid assets of BDT. 25.00 lakhs (Twenty five lakhs) to prove its financial viability (Bank statement has to be submitted as proof).
Delivery Capacity Required: (a) The firm must have an updated valid trade license, tax payment certificate, TIN certificate and VAT registration; (b) The firm must have the previous three years audit report and annual turnover report. |
