INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
1. Site Assessment, Topographic Survey and Geotechnical Investigation of the site for identity suitable alignment.
2. Conduct detail Hydrological & Morphological study & physical survey of adjacent river “Shitalakhya” for recommendation for best-suitable alignment duly considering topography, land formation, economical & safeguard consideration, river flow, water tide table, water current, existing slipway/ Infrastructure for designing marine/ Hydraulic Structure at Dock 1&2.
3. Design of slipway capacity each 2000 M. T. (Max) including winch, supply & installation of slipway rail, trolley & other machineries and moving lifting crane facility (Capacity 10 M. Ton) with all details Lay-Out Plan, detailed Architectural & Structural Design considering seismic safety, river erosion & other factors including river protection, approach road, parking yard, Jetty, pontoon, spud & R.C.C Embankment along with Electrical design & Drainage system including supply & installation of sub-station, generator, pump room, meter room etc. all incidental works for successful completion of the relevant project.
4. Involve in full time supervision during construction for the successful completion of the project including modifications of drawings, work plan preparation & submission of monthly progress report.
5. Prepare detail cost estimate as per PWD Rate Schedule and cost estimate with analysis for other procurable machineries & equipment.
6. Preparation of tender document, detail BOQ & Evaluation Criterion along with technical specifications.
7. Advice and assist PD/ DPD in execution of related project works. |

Experience
1. The Consulting firm must have 10 (Ten) years working experience in comprising of conducting similar study, Investigation and Engineering design.
2. The Consulting Firms having experience in designing & supervision of slipway will be given priorities.
3. Have adequate knowledge to set-up machineries lay-out for slipway, winch, and workshop (Including crane, substation, generator, fork lift and others infrastructural facilities).
Recourses
1. The consulting firm must have adequate member of relevant technical personnel with experience related to the assignment such as Foundation/Geotechnical Engineer, Structural Engineer, Senior Architect, Qualified surveyor, Environmental specialist, Hydraulic Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Marine Engineer & Mechanical Engineer for conducting data collection, details design, preparation of tender document & technical specifications.
2. The consulting firm must have adequate Physical Resources such as office, working equipment, IT facility, Survey equipment, logistical support etc.
3. The EOI would be reviewed on the basis of the following.
• Registration of firm.
• Availability of key professionals.
• Availability of recourses.
• Turnover of the consulting firm.
• Experience of the firm(s) in similar works.
• Experience of the firm(s) in other works.
• Support services of the firm(s)
Capacity Requirement
1. The consulting firm has the capacity to produce all type preliminary basic design within 02 (Two) Months and full design including supplying of detail estimate BOQ tender document within 6 (six) months from the date of signing of contact.
2. The consulting firm has sufficient technical man power for full time supervision for the successful completion of the project. |
