An advocacy campaign to raise awareness about public procurement (PP) and popularise the Public Procurement Act and the Public Procurement Rules starts today (Monday), said a press release.
The Central Procurement Technical Unit (CPTU) of the IME Division under the Ministry of Planning has assigned the Bangladesh Centre for Communication Programmes (BCCP) to conduct the campaign under Social Awareness Campaign and Communication (SACC) across the country.
The BCCP has conducted a communication-based assessment (CBA) and an opinion research (OR) to formulate a comprehensive communication strategy under the Public Procurement Reform Project-II to address the issues of public procurement in the country. The CPTU is implementing the PPRP-II supported by the World Bank. |
