The ninth meeting of the Public-Private Stakeholders Committee, which was scheduled for January 7, 2016, was deferred due to unavoidable circumstances.
The new date for the PPSC meeting will be announced later.
The meeting was scheduled to be held at the NEC Conference Room on the Planning Commission campus at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in Dhaka.
The PPSC has been formed with representatives from business community, think-tanks, and civil society organizations along with government officials, to institutionalize external monitoring and citizen engagement in different stages of public procurement.
The BRAC Institute for Development and Governance (BIGD), working as the Social Accountability Consultant under the PPRP-II, will organize and facilitate the meeting.
The CPTU is implementing PPRP-II with support from the World Bank under the auspices of the Public Procurement Reform Project-II (PPRP-II). |
