The City Bank and Bangladesh Commerce bank have tied up with CPTU to facilitate e-GP related payments. Both the banks have signed separate memorandum of understanding with CPTU at CPTU Bhaban, IMED, today. This brings the total number of banks equipped to facilitate e-GP related payments to thirty three. The City Bank MD and CEO Sohail R. K. Hussain and Commerce Bank MD and CEO Abu Sadeque M. Sohel represented their respective banks while signing their accords with CPTU Director General Faruque Hossain in presence of IMED Secretary (In charge) Md. Shahid Ullah Khandaker.
The City Bank will have the services available through its 106 branches and Bangladesh Commerce Bank will provide the services to the bidders through its 48 branches nationwide, all of which are fully online. |
