SSK is the social health protection scheme developed by the Health Economics Unit (HEU) of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW). This scheme is a model of Social Health Insurance (SHI)/ Social Health Protection. It has been decided that the pilot scheme would initially be implemented at upazila level. The Scheme Operator (SO) of the SSK will be an implementing agency to manage the SSK piloting. HEU signed the contract with Pragati Life Insurance Limited as SO on 28/12/2020 for the period of 18 months for managing field level implementation of the Shasthyo Surokhsha Karmasuci (SSK) Pilot Project at Shakhipur, Bhuapur, Gopalpur, and Dhanbari Upazila under Tangail district. |
