INFORMATION FOR TENDERER

| Eligibility of Tenderer : |

All the Bidders must have general experience under contracts in the role of prime contractor (single entity or JV member), Subcontractor, or management contractor in the power sector for at least 10 (ten) years prior to the Bid submission deadline. Participation as Contractor in at least 2 (two) similar contracts with an aggregate value of USD 10 (ten) million or equivalent that have been successfully completed between the year 2014 and the Bid submission deadline. The above contracts must meet the criteria mentioned below: The scope of each contract must include design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of associated switchgear for the minimum one (1) transformer of 380/X kV or above. For the above contracts executed during the period mentioned above, a minimum experience in the following key activities:: (a) At least one contract having contract value at least USD 6 (Six) million and completed either in Bangladesh or outside the Bidder's own country., (b) At least one contract shall be with new 380/X kV, or higher voltage rating transformer installation and that have been in successful operation for a minimum of three (3) years counting backward from the date of the bid submission deadline. Evidence of above experience shall be submitted in the bid. It shall be given on the user's letterhead, indicating address, telephone and fax numbers of the user. It shall include the name of the project, name of the employer, description of the work, commissioning date and contract amount. In case of JV, the partner’s contribution shall be not less than 20 % within the contract, otherwise that project will not be considered.
