INFORMATION FOR TENDERER

| Eligibility of Tenderer : |

Tenderers shall meet the following minimum requirements along with other requirements as mentioned in the tendering documents:
- Tenderer must have Experience under contracts in the role of contractor, sub- contractor or management contractor in power sector for at least last 10(ten) years prior to the Tender submission deadline.
- Participation as a Contractor in at least three contracts that have been successfully completed within the last 10 (ten) years, and those are similar to the proposed contract, where the total cumulative value of the line for these contracts must be at least: USD 70,000,000 (Seventy million USD). The similarity of
the Tenderer’s (or JV partner) participation shall be based on the physical Complexity, methods, technology or other characteristics as described in Employer's Requirements. The scope of works include supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning.
For the above mentioned contracts executed during the period mentioned above:
(a) at least one (1) of the above contract shall be of 220 kV or higher voltage rating transmission line (i) having at least 25 km route length of single/double circuit line and where the value of the Tenderer's (or JV partner) participation in the contract exceeds: USD 42,000,000 (Forty-Two million USD).
(b) at least one (1) contract shall be of 110kV and/or 220 kV or higher voltage rating transmission line
(i) having at least 25 km route length of single/double circuit line.
(c) at least one (1) contract shall be of 110kV and/or 220 kV above voltage transmission line (i) having at least 25 km route length and (ii) being in successful operation for a minimum of three (03) year prior to the date of tender submission.
(d) at least one (1) contract shall be of 110kV and/or 220 kV or higher voltage rating transmission line
(i) having at least 25 km route length and (ii) completed outside the Tenderer’s own country
Evidence of above experience shall be submitted in the tender. It shall be given on the user's letter- head, indicating address, telephone and fax numbers of the user. It shall include the name of the project, name of the employer, description of the work, commissioning date and contract amount.

The Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Limited (PGCB), (‘the Employer”) invites sealed tenders from eligible tenderers for the “Design, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 230 kV and 132 kV Transmission Lines for Southern Area of Chattogram Division & Bangabandhu Hi- Tech City at Kaliakoir on Turnkey Basis (Package-2)” (herein after referred to as “the Works”). The Works under this turnkey contract shall have to be completed for Scope-I (as mentioned in EQC) is within 720 (seven hundred twenty) days and for Scope-II (as mentioned in EQC) is within 1260 (one thousand twelve hundred sixty) days from the effective date. |
