(a) General Experience:
Having experience in the role of a contractor, subcontractors, or management contractor for at least the last ten [10] years prior to the date of publication of IFT in newspaper.
(b) Specific Experience:
(1) Design, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of at least one (01) number surface water treatment plant of minimum capacity 50 MLD including intake and intake pumping station within the last ten years with a value of at least taka BDT 2030 Million or 23.94 Million USD.
(2) Design, procurement and installation of raw and treated water transmission main of diameter greater than or equal to 800 mm and for a minimum length of l0 Km.
(3) Design, procurement and installation of uPVC water supply distribution system of diameter greater than or equal to I 50 mm and for length of 25 Km.
(4) Experience of operation and maintenance of the above items 1,2 & 3 after successfully completion of the same for a period of two (02) years.
(c) Financial resources
(1) Minimum average annual construction turnover of BDT 2500 Million or 29.48 Million USD, in the best three (3) years of the last five (5) years.
(2) The Tenderer must demonstrate access to, or availability of financial resources such as liquid assets, unencumbered real assets, lines of credit, and other financial means, other than any contractual advance payments to meet:
(i) the following cash-flow requirement: BDT 510 million or 6.01 Million USD and
(d) Other requirements are as per Tender document. |

Component I: Detailed design, procurement and construction of 105 MLD raw water intake comprising of intake structure, intake pump station, riverbank protection works and other associated works at the left bank of Muhuri reseryoir, Mirsarai, Chattogram. However, scope of procurement and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment including stand-by generators will be based on the nominal capacity of intake 52.5 MLD.
Component II: Detailed design, procurement and construction of 50 MLD surface water treatment plant including tertiary treatment of sludge and other facilities like administrative building, staff housing, SCADA system, chemical building as described in the tender document.
Component III: Detailed design, procurement and construction of raw water transmission main from intake pump station to treatment plant including design, procurement and construction of treated water transmission main and distribution network.
Component IV: Operation and Maintenance Works (O&M) of the Component L II & III for a period of three (03) years including one-year defects notification period. |
