8.1 TOR for Hiring Charge of Jeep
Name of Service: Jeep
Quantity: 01 (one) nos.
Transport Model: Not before 2014.
Necessary Papers: Update Registration (Blue-Book), Tax-token, Fitness with VAT and Insurance, etc.
Duty Station/ Place of Performance: All over in Bangladesh (Most of the times in Dhaka City, But whenever is needed, the Jeep will have to go or move in anywhere of the project areas of Bangladesh.)
Project Reference: Poverty Reduction through Production and Marketing of High Valued Nutritional Minor Crops Program, BRDB under the Ministry of LGRD & Cooperative.
Duration of Service: Till December 2023
Project Purpose: The main objective of the project is to increase the production of minor crops of pulses, oil, spices in the project area and to improve the quality of life of the poor people in the rural areas and reduce the dependence on import of minor crops.
Organizational arrangement: PE will provide only monthly rent/ Hiring Charge.
Responsibilities/ Accountabilities / Specific tasks: The jeep will be used for the transportation of the Project Director (PD), named Poverty Reduction through Production and Marketing of High Valued Nutritional Minor Crops Program, regularly (According to PD’s desire).
Minimum distance coverage (Monthly): 3000 Km .
Working Hour/Service Time: Any time service of Minimum 8 to 18 hours a day / According to the desire of the Project authority).
Special Indications:
(a) Less distance coverage of any transport service can be used for the Jeep service according to the desire of the PD.
(b) If there is any problem of the Jeep-service / journey’s are interrupted, the service provider will arrange same type of Jeep within one hour with his or her own cost, otherwise Project authority will arrange the transport and it’s actual cost will be deduct from monthly rent bill / Hiring Charge bill.
(c) Service interruption more than twice in a month of the jeep will the cause of banning contract.
Transport/ Jeep Fuel: Will be provided by the service provider with his/her own cost.
Transport/Jeep maintenance: Will be made/ done by Will be provided by the service provider with his/her own cost.
Driver: Will be provided by the service provider and the driver’s salary or overtime bill will be paid by the service provider.

Name of Services: Micro Bus
Quantity: 03 (Three) nos.
Transports Model: Not before 2014.

Job Title: Drivers
Drivers Educational Qualification: Minimum class 8 pass with valid driving license.
Experience of the drivers: Minimum 5 years driving experience of same type of transports.
Quantity: 04 (Four) nos [1 Jeep driver & 3 Microbus driver]
Necessary Papers: Update Driving license, Educational Certificate, etc.
Duty Station/ Place of Performance: All over in Bangladesh (Most of the times in Dhaka City, But whenever is needed, the Jeep will have to go or move in anywhere of the project areas of Bangladesh.)
Project Reference: Poverty Reduction through Production and Marketing of High Valued Nutritional Minor Crops Program, BRDB under the Ministry of LGRD & Cooperative.
Duration of Employment: December 2023
Project Purpose: The main objective of the project is to increase the production of minor crops of pulses, oil, spices in the project area and to improve the quality of life of the poor people in the rural areas and reduce the dependence on import of minor crops.
Organizational arrangement: PE will provide only monthly rent/ Hiring Charge.
Responsibilities/ Accountabilities / Specific tasks: The drivers will drive the transports regularly for the transportation of the PD and the project’s stuffs according to the PD’s desire.
Working Hour/Service Time: Any time service of Minimum 8 to 18 hours a day / According to the desire of the Project authority).
Special Indications: The Jeep’s driver can have to drive Micro Bus and Micro Bus drivers can have to drive the Jeep. Long journey can be made by joint driving.
Drivers salary & overtime: Will be paid by the service provider.
Overall job content: He/she will work under the direction of the PD.
Leave: Leave will be approved by the PD after replacing other driver.
