| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The overall responsibility of the Certification body/firm will be to conduct audit & issue Integrated Management System (IMS) Certificate with ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), ISO 14001:2015 (EMS) & ISO 45001:2018 (OH & SMS) Certification of BPDB for 3 (three) years.
The certification /audit plan shall engage appropriate resource persons for certification of (IMS) with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 standard. For the certification part, audit will be provided for Stage-2 audit/certification audit, Surveillance audit -1 and Surveillance audit -2 scheme for activities under electricity Generation, Distribution, Training Academy/Center, PC Pole Manufacturing Plants, Stores & Management sites of BPDB. They shall prepare and submit audit reports and issue Integrated Management System (IMS) Certificate with ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), ISO 14001:2015 (EMS) & ISO 45001:2018 (OH & SMS) Certificate for Bangladesh Power Development Board.
Offices and facilities are:
a. No. of Sites: 300 Sites
b. No. of Employees: More than 12,000 Persons
The required services will be included as follows
SCHEME OF THE SERVICES:
A. Re-Certification audit (Stage-2/Certification Audit) in First Year:
? Prepare audit plan
? Conduct full system audit of the management system
? Prepare audit findings
? Presentation of audit report
? Follow-up of audit for any non-conformities
? Submission of final audit report
? Declaration of certification
? Issue of certificate
B. Periodic Surveillance Audit:
? Periodic Surveillance Audit in 2nd Year
? Periodic Surveillance Audit in 3rd Year

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

Qualifications and experiences of the consulting firm for the Recertification & Surveillance Audit should be as follows (Evidence of the qualification to be provided):
a) Certification body must be an internationally reputed one having registered office in Bangladesh.
b) Must have minimum 05 (Five) accreditations.
c) Must possess at least 10 years of experience in conducting audit and certifying to QMS, EMS, OHS MS- AS INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (IMS) out of which at least 10 years of experience in Bangladesh.
d) Must have experience of issuing at least 10 (Ten) certificates against QMS, EMS, OHS MS- AS INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (IMS) out of which at least 10 in Govt/semi-Govt/Autonomous or any reputed organization of Bangladesh within the last 5 (Five) calendar years.
e) The certification body should have appropriate logistics and operational support team in Bangladesh.
Details of experience, resource and delivery capacity are furnished in the ToR.
Interested Certification body/Firms are requested to provide information in the EOI indicating that they are qualified to perform the services. Brochures will also include TIN and VAT number, updated trade license, list of available appropriate professionals showing qualification and experience, summarizing their facilities and areas of expertise with administrative strength and financial capacity. The financial capability shall be shown as Financial Turn Over supported by a registered Audit Firm for the last three years. Joint venture with other service provider also be allowed according to PPR-2008, Article 54.
