Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Solar Power System Consultant
Duration: 42 person months (tentative)
Scope of Services:
- Conduct technical & operational assessment of existing and proposed solar energy infrastructure in the WASH systems.
-Provide technical and design support by reviewing and refining the existing system designs and specifications for solar PV installations.
Educational Qualifications:
Graduate in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with M. Sc in Renewable Energy Technology or related field.
Experience:
-Minimum of 10 years of experience in Renewable Energy Sector
-7 years of experience in any govt/semi govt/ international organizations/
Multilateral Development Banks
-Minimum 5 years of working experience in World Bank/ ADB or other
Development Organization funded project
-Research experience (minimum 3 years) and at least one publication on
solar systems integrated with WASH or public infrastructure
Jr. ICT & MIS Consultant
Duration: 42 person months (tentative)
Scope of Services:
-Provide support with existing Management Information System (MIS)
-Train HELP staff in the use and maintenance of the system
-Conduct a test run of the application, integrating the activities of the HELP
Educational Qualifications:
B.Sc in Computer Science/Computer Science Engineering (CSE)/ Information Technology or Equivalent.
Experience:
-Minimum 5 years general working experience in ICT industry
-Work experience in software integration services and government data related planning will be given preference;
-Experience with GOB and donor funded project, particularly the World Bank funded project will be given preference.

Gender Consultant
Duration: 42 person months (tentative)
Scope of Services:
-Ability to resolve all activities related to Gender and Gender Based Violence (GBV)/ Sexual Exploitation and Abuse/ Sexual Harassment (SEA/SH);
-Prepare screening reports on gender and social inclusion in design and construction activities (where appropriate) on equitable terms in all the interventions proposed.
-Responsible for developing and updating of Gender Action Plan, GBV Action Plan, GBV Risk rating/assessment plan etc
Educational Qualifications:
Master’s degree in any discipline of social science or other relevant fields
Experience:
-Minimum of 5 years relevant professional work experience at national and international levels in development or humanitarian field, on projects preferably in World Bank or other donor funded funded project.
-Operational experience on the ground in the implementation of programs related to violence against women and girls, sexual exploitation and abuse, gender, and child protection.

Applicants are required to submit their Expressions of Interest (EoI), comprising of a CV (including employment history with duties and responsibilities) and a forwarding letter describing briefly the reasons that the applicant considers him/her-self best suited to perform the assignment.
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraphs 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, Fifth Edition, September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on Conflict of Interest.
Detailed Terms of Reference (ToR) and other information will be available upon request from the address provided below either through email or in person. ToR is also available in DPHE website (http:www.dphe.gov.bd).
The consultant will be selected following the Selection of Individual Consultant method as set forth in the World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers.
Expression of Interest needs to be submitted (either through e-mail or in person or by mail) to the following address by 12:00 hours on July 17, 2025. Please clearly mention “Expression of Interest (EoI) for Selection of the Consultant in the e-mail’s subject line or on the top of the envelope.
