1) Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required: 12 (twelve) years of general work experience; 8 (eight) years specific experiences on dealing environmental safeguards works, preparation of safeguards documents, capacity building workshop etc; Experience in working with international consulting firm or international organizations/ international agencies, or development projects funded by MDBs (ADB, World Bank etc.); Computer literacy skills (MS Word, Excel, and Power Point etc.) and proficiency in written and spoken English and report writing is desirable. |

specialist shall have Master’s degree in Science/Agricultural Science/Social Science (Sociology, Anthropology)/Environmental Science/equivalent; Applicants having international accreditation or certifications or training in relevant subjects will be given preference. The consultant will be accountable to the Project Director of FREAP, DAE for every decision and will report to him. The Specialist/consultant will provide a quarterly progress report, outlining the implementation's progress, supervision of the construction works as mentioned above, the challenges encountered, and suggestions for how to address or overcome them to the FREAP-DAE Project Director. A draft of the final report must be submitted by the Specialist/consultant to PMU, FREAP-DAE, one month before the completion of the assignment. If necessary, PMU will offer feedback on the draft report, and the Specialist will submit the final report, taking PMU's suggestions into account, within the time range set by the FREAP-DAE Project Director. Duration of the consultancy services will be 18 (Eighteen) months or up to project period which one is earlier. |
