INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Sylhet Gas Fields Limited (SGFL) shall appoint the Bangladeshi Individual Consultants in order to provide the consultancy services for three dimensional (3D) seismic survey project (as stated above) under SGFL. During the implementation of 3D seismic project, three categories of Local Consultants (Geophysicist, Geologist & Petroleum Engineer) shall be engaged on behalf of SGFL in order to monitor and supervise the project activities and to deliver the appropriate suggestions and recommendations for the improvement of the related services and reports.
Engaging different international seismic service provider, the SGFL will execute the acquisition, processing & interpretation of 3D seismic data using state-of-the-art technology for its relinquished area of acreage block-13 & 14 and Kurigaon structure (129 sq. km). Basin modeling, static modeling, dynamic modeling and field development will also be conducted. The Seismic Service Provider shall, with their own personnel and equipment, delineate different hydrocarbon reservoirs and identify structural and stratigraphic prospects in the area. The emphasis would be given for getting clear and reliable seismic image for the deep petroleum resources upto eight kilometers below the surface. The planned local consultancy service is estimated 16 Man-month (Geophysicist 10 MM, Geologist 03 MM & Petroleum Engineer 03 MM). An individual Consultant shall not submit EOI more than one category.
Brief Scope of Service (but not limited to) for Geophysicist:
- Pre-analysis of the existing relevant available data and reports.
- Should be stayed in project area (Sylhet) during the project execution period.
- Work with the service provider by means of coordinated approach.
- Coordinating with company people, the Local Consultant shall verify the 3D seismic design and acquisition and processing parameters that would be submitted by the service provider.
- Observe and suggest on 3D seismic designing, Planning, processing, interpretation and mapping/modeling.
- Attend, monitor and recommend on the project activities (3D seismic design, planning, parameter/field test, surveying, shooting, conventional & advance processing, interpretation, meetings, presentations etc) as required.
- Scrutinize, discuss and review the related execution plans and reports during the seismic projects.
- Provide the necessary related suggestions for improving the execution of the project followed by the related reports.
- Prepare meeting minutes.
Brief Scope of Service (but not limited to) for Geologist:
- Pre-analysis of the existing relevant available data and reports.
- Should be stayed in project area (Sylhet) during the project execution period.
- Work with the service provider by means of coordinated approach.
- Coordinating with company people, the Local Consultant shall analyze and identify the available different geological formations in the area.
- The Local Consultant shall work on DST, RFT, PLT, MDT, RDT and pressure survey data.
- Observe, Monitor and suggest on 3D Seismic Data Interpretation, Advances Seismic Interpretation, Sequence stratigraphy & Geological study, Prospect Identification, Evaluation & Ranking including attribute analysis and general stratigraphic interpretation and its correlation.
- Observe and suggest on the geological and seismic interpretation and static modeling with property modeling.
- Attend, monitor and recommend on the project activities (meetings, presentations, geological modeling etc).
- Monitor and suggest on the preparation of well design for proposed wells to be drilled in future.
- Scrutinize, discuss and review the related execution plans and reports during drilling, workover and seismic projects.
- Provide the necessary related suggestions for improving the execution of the project followed by the related reports.
- Petrophysical analysis using well log interpretation.
- Prepare meeting minutes.
Brief Scope of Service (but not limited to) for Petroleum Engineer:
- Pre-analysis of the existing relevant available data and reports.
- Should be stayed in project area (Sylhet) during the project execution period.
- Work with the service provider by means of coordinated approach.
- Coordinating with the company people, the Local Consultant shall work on DST, RFT, PLT, MDT, RDT and pressure survey data.
- Observe and suggest on the reservoir engineering analysis and dynamic modeling.
- Attend, monitor and recommend on the project activities (meetings, presentations, reservoir modeling, simulation etc).
- Monitor and suggest on the preparation of well design for proposed wells to be drilled in future.
- Scrutinize, discuss and review the related execution plans and reports during drilling, workover and seismic projects.
- Provide the necessary related suggestions for improving the execution of the project followed by the related reports.
- Prepare meeting minutes.

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

The Local Consultant should be specialized in high resolution 3D seismic design, data acquisition and imaging to establish subsurface geological model and reservoir engineering model for hydrocarbon exploration and production on oil and gas sector. The required experience and qualification (but not limited to) of the Local Consultants are as follows:
Geophysicist:
- Shall have minimum Bachelor Degree in Geophysics or Geology.
- Shall have the 2D/3D seismic related service experience a minimum of 10 years.
- The Consultants should have experience on using the related updated software (e.g MESA, Geoland, Omega, Petrel, VISTA, PROMAX, SPW, GeoEast, KLSEIS II etc or equivalents).
Geologist:
- Shall have minimum Bachelor Degree in Geology.
- Shall have the geology related service experience a minimum of 10 years.
- The Consultants should have experience on using the related updated software (e.g., TechLog, Petrel, Decision Space, Hampson Russel, PetroMod, GeoEast, etc or equivalents).
- Should have experience in petrophysical analysis using well log interpretation.
Petroleum Engineer:
- Shall have minimum Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering.
- Shall have the petroleum engineering related service experience a minimum of 10 years.
- The Consultants should have experience on using the related updated software (e.g., Eclipse, TechLog, Petrel, GeoEast, etc or equivalents).
The seismic experiences (3D & 2D) should be mentioned separately. The Bangladeshi individual consultants are eligible to submit EOI. The interested individual Consultant(s) shall submit the hard copies of the EOI (3 copies: 1 original and 2 copies) on any working day (Sunday to Thursday) between 09:00 and 17:00 hrs BST to the address below before the EOI closing time with the following information and documents indicating their eligibility:
• Curriculum Vitae (following the format which is available in www.sgfl.org.bd) of relevant Consultant
• Educational qualification
• Experiences (general, drilling, wells, seismic, models etc) of the Consultant
• Types of major industry software and equipment used
• Documents in favor of education and experience
• Expected remuneration and benefit (in BD TK) per month

The EOIs will be opened in presence of the participating individuals, if any, on 08-09-2024 at 12.15 hrs (BST). In case of any unavoidable circumstances such as strike, civil commotion, natural calamity, govt. declared holiday etc EOIs will be received and opened on the following working day. Upon receipt of EOIs, the interested Consultants that are deemed best suited to perform the assignment will be short-listed. The shortlisted Applicants may be invited for interviews and the selected Applicants will then be invited to negotiate fees or remuneration, reimbursables, the inputs available from the procuring entity etc and subsequently to sign the Contract. This tender would be processed following the PPA-2006 & PPR-2008. The aforesaid EOI notice would be available at:
