| Brief Description of Assignment |

Bangabandhu Research Chair 01 (One): The Chair shall be responsible for accomplishing activities complying with the policy and taking responsibilities for the research and development activities. The Chair shall liaise with Executive Chairman of BARC and Project Director of ‘Establishment of Bangabandhu-Pierre Elliot Trudeau Agricultural Technology Center (BP-ATC) and enhancement of agricultural research capability in Bangladesh’ project. The Chair will supervise research and outreach activities (PhDs and PDFs under BP-ATC), contribute to academic, research and outreach programs related to food and nutritional security. Chair shall jointly work with GIFS, BARC and NARS.
Consultant (M&E) 01 (One): Ensure monitoring and evaluation of project activities to be performed by the project component organizations as per the results framework |

Bangabandhu Research Chair 01 (One): PhD in Agriculture
-10 years of work experience in Agricultural Research and Research Management (Please see detail in ToR).
Consultant (M&E) 01 (One): Minimum Master Degree in agricultural science/economics/statistics or related subjects
-Candidates having PhD degree may have an added advantage
-Minimum 10 years of work experience in Agricultural Research and Research Management(Please see detail in ToR). |

1. BP-ATC now invites eligible applicant(s) to indicate their interest in providing the services mentioned above. Interest Consultants need to provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services. Applicants are required to submit their Expressions of Interest (EOI) comprising of a CV (including employment history with duties and responsibilities) [one hard copy and also a soft copy in CD/flash drive (MS word format)], a recent passport size photograph and a forwarding letter describing briefly the reasons that the applicant considers him/her-self best suited to perform the assignment.
2. Details Terms of Reference (ToR), CV Template and other information will be available upon request from the address provided below either through email or in person. ToR and CV Template are also available in BARC’s website (www.barc.gov.bd).
3. The consultant will be selected following the Public Procurement Rules and Act. |
