INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The service provider should be maintained following services solely or in collaboration with others to build the demand-based occupational skill of the targeted youth of the age from 18 to 35 years by competency-based vocational training for job creation facilitating self-initiative employment and /or giving placement in the job market, home and abroad, for gainful and productive engagement.
a) The service provider must be affiliated and certified as a Registered Training Organization (RTO) from BTEB.
b) Caregiving course accreditation and curriculum should be followed the BTEB standardized accreditation procedure under the National Technical and Vocational Qualifications Framework (NTVQF).
c) Prepare training schedule, training module and curriculum, necessary supportive health care and training materials and aids following the needs of competence-based training framework under the BTEB.
d) Make a preliminary selection of participants based on pre-determined trainees’ selection criteria.
e) Conduct skill development training comprising 360 hours within 45 days for the selected participants/trainees and ensure active participation of the trainees throughout the courses.
f) Arrange competent test assessment/re-assessment and certification from BTEB.
g) Arrange suitable standard boarding/lodging of trainees for each batch of training including food.
h) The service provider shall be competent for ensuring wage-based job for 80% of graduates through placement services and facilitating self-employment for the remaining 20%; and
i) Maintain and supply trainee database (for tracking) to the PMU and establish contacts with potential employers to learn about their needs and to supply trained graduates for employment. |
Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

The service provider/training institute for the assignment should have to meet the following requirements:
a) Have extensive experience in providing CAREGIVING (NTVQF course code-129) vocational skill development training within last 5(five) years.
b) Working experience with government agency/foreign funded project will add an advantage.
c) Experience in the selected area will also give an advantage.
d) Have Updated trade license, registration number, TIN, and VAT number.
e) Should have Organizational Capacity such as Office Space, Permanent/Pay Roll staffs information and other logistic facilities to provide discerned training.
f) The financial capability shall be shown as Financial Turn Over supported by a registered Audit Firm for the last three years. |
