| Brief Description of Assignment |

"The study is formulated with a view to perform baseline study to identify the state of surface and groundwater resources (water availability, demand, quality and use) in the study area up to Mouza level through Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach for supporting operationalization of the Bangladesh Water Act, 2013.

"Applicant must also have adequate technical ability, resources and processes. As such, following are defined as minimum eligibility criteria: (Documents must be submitted in the following order)
1. The consulting firm/firms must have at least 10 (ten) years of documented experience in providing technical assistance and consultancy services in the areas of baseline study to identify the state of surface and groundwater resources through Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach.
2. Must be registered with RJSC (Applicable for Joint Stock Company & Firm).
3. Must have experience in design, development and implementation of at least 05 (five) projects in the field of Water Resources. Among the projects, at least 2 (two) projects should be complete deployments and deployment in Government agencies will be given preference.
4. Audit report of the previous 3 (Three) years. Yearly turnover of the firm shell be at least BDT 5(five) crore.
5. The minimum amount of Liquid asset of the firm shall be Tk. 1.5 (One and half) Crore (Certificate or proof on available liquid asset or fund availability, must be issued 03 (Three) months from the date of tender submission by the concern authority).
6. Documents demonstrating the management and operational capacity of the firm / joint venture (Brochures, Company Profile and other documents describing company expertise, strength and experience, core functions, products and services, similar assignments or project experience, availability of relevant professional staff and experience among applicant’s staff/resources to carry out this assignment.
7. The firms may associate to enhance their qualification in the form of a ‘joint-venture’ (JV). All members of such an association will be individually liable for pre-determined real and well-defined inputs to the assignment. The maximum no. of members in the association is not more than 02 (Two). Both the firm must be Bangladeshi Firms. 8. Relevant professional as per ToR should be included in the expression of interest.
9. Firms /JV will be selected in accordance with the procedure set out in Public Procurement Act 2006 and Public Procurement Rules 2008." |
