INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
1. Consultant (Audit and Accounts): a) Pre-review and post-review all procurement and bill related files supporting documents, seals and signatures and dates to find out any discrepancy or shortcoming or non-compliance of government rules and regulations so that all procurement would be conducted by fulfilment of government financial and non-financial rules and regulations and would not face any difficulties during yearly audit; c) Provide regular support to project office so that the project office can run and maintain transparency and accountability in accounts and auditing;
2. Consultant (Procurement Specialist): a) Provides technical fiduciary advice to project office on proposing procurement method for recruitment of consultants, procurement of goods etc.
b) Support Project Director in updating Annual Procurement Plan.
c) Help project director in preparing specifications for goods procurement, terms of reference for service procurement.
d) Provide master bid documents for goods, works and service procurement, Terms of Reference.

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

1. Consultant (Audit and Accounts): • Minimum Master’s degree in finance and accounting or any related subject from any recognized unitversity.
• At least 20 years of overall experiences accounts or audit is a must and proven experiences in any audit and accounts related government organization is a must.
• Age should be not over 65 (Sixty Five) and highly motivated;
• Should have English and Computer proficiency;
2. Consultant (Procurement Specialist): a) At least a master’s degree in any discipline and Any national/ international degree related to procurement.
c) Any international training in procurement will be an added advantage. The specialist should have proven experience in preparing bid documents for goods and services.
d) At least 12 years of proven work experience in government of Bangladesh’s project planning and procurement.
