(S-02/PMU): DETAILED ENGINEERING DESIGN FOR WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION FOR CUMILLA, ISHWARDI CLUSTER TOWNS & KHAGRACHARI TOWN (DED-CTK), This assignment encompasses a comprehensive validation process, including feasibility study validation, detailed engineering design, procurement support, and the establishment of institutional mechanisms. It also involves capacity building for stakeholders, ensuring the projects viability, adherence to engineering standards, smooth procurement processes, and the enhancement of the capacities of key stakeholders. This assignment also covers a wide range of critical tasks, including the evaluation of surface water sources, development of town selection criteria, preliminary design, financial analysis, and institutional arrangement. It also involves technology assessment, environmental considerations, risk assessment, stakeholder consultations, and cost estimation for various project components. Additionally, it addresses Fecal Sludge Management (FSM) and the establishment of Minimum Performance Standards and Specifications (MPSS) for sub-projects. This comprehensive approach ensures a well-rounded strategy for water supply and sanitation projects.
