| Brief Description of Assignment |

The scope of the Consultancy services primarily include:
• Craft long-term strategies that drive diverse scientific studies with significant academic implications, shaping the future of nanotechnology exploration.
• Design state-of-the-art laboratories and infrastructure required for nanoscale research. Incorporate flexible layouts to accommodate evolving research needs.
• Provide robust oversight for quality control to ensure the establishment of a cutting-edge Nanotechnology Institute with advanced lab setups that uphold the highest standards.
• Support for making specifications for essential technical components, research software, and equipment procurement according to project personnel requirements.
• Offer detailed designs of laboratories to ensure the smooth and efficient setup of the Nanotechnology Institute and its facilities.
• Suppose to deliver expert consultancy to ensure full compliance with pertinent laws, policies, and regulations governing all aspects of the institute, lab, and management operations.
• Assess and guide researchers and staff, offering & arranging training for the project personnel, fostering skill development, experiment design, and pipeline advancement to maximize the potential of nanotechnology research and innovation. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

To provide the consultancy services for planning and advising in different lab design, integration, supervision in establishing ‘Institute of Nanotechnology’, the consultancy firm will have the following qualification and experiences:-
• Proof of Legal establishment of the firm i.e., up-to-date trade license, VAT Registration with TIN number, Latest Income Tax Clearance Certificate, Bank solvency certificate from schedule Bank of Bangladesh.
• Brief description of the technical experts to be assigned for the project and provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the assigned services and availability of appropriate professionals among staff etc.
• There should be a team of foreign consultants, ideally every expert holding minimum a PhD degree from top-ranked institutions in the UK, USA, EU, Australia, or Canada, and possessing a minimum of 5 years of experience in Nanotechnology, Material Science, or any other relevant field. Priority will be given to consultants who have published research papers in international proceedings/journals.
• A joint venture with any foreign firm will be given preference. The principal firm must have experience in scientific consultancy in the government sector in Bangladesh.
