INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA) – a member of the World Bank Group – for financing the cost of the Enhancing Digital Government and Economy (EDGE) Project, being implemented by the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC). BCC intends to apply part of the IDA Credit for procuring the services of consulting services under the project. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

The following consultants (national) will be recruited on the basis of individual capacity:
Project Manager/ Specialist - Digital Economy Business Development (Contract Package No: EDGE-IC11)
? Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) or any other related subject from a reputed university.
? Eight (8) years' job experience in business development sector out of which 03 years’ experience in the Innovation Technology’s Business Development.
? Experience in Core Corporate Managerial will get preference.
? Direct involvement in technology innovation to business will get be added value.
? Experience on developing national level digital/innovation Strategy Formulation will get preference.
? Enabling indigenous innovation eco-system within the government/private sector will get preference.
? Proven experiences in prototype to market ready product development
? Multiple partnership experience with public or private sector.
? Strong communication skills in presenting, discussing, and resolving difficult issues.
? Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
The duration of the assignment will be 48 (forty-eight) person-months. However, the duration of the assignment may be increased or reduced according to project needs and budget.
Project Manager/ Specialist – DE Strategy (Contract Package No: EDGE-IC15)
? Bachelor (Honor’s) in any related subject with IT certification from a reputed university.
? 07 years of working experience in the field of e-Governance digitization out of which 05 years’ experience in digitization through innovation.
? Minimum 02 years of working experience in the field of digital strategy development
? Experience in different guideline, concept note, manual etc. development.
? Working experience with the government is preferable.
? Experiences of doing partnership with national and international organizations.
? Experiences of managing projects/teams.
? Solid organizational and multitasking skills
? Excellent ICT & computer skills.
? Strong communication skills in presenting, discussing, and resolving difficult issues.
? Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Enhancing Digital Government and Economy (EDGE) Project now invites eligible applicants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Applicants are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (complete CV with details as required). The consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in World Bank’s Procurement Regulation for IPF Borrowers (July 2016, Revised November 2017, August 2018 and November 2020).
Interested applicants may obtain the Terms of Reference (TOR) from the office of the EDGE Project during office hours or download from the website www.bcc.gov.bd.
Expressions of Interest (EOI) must be submitted in written form in the address below (in person or by mail or by e-mail) by January 30, 2023, within 2.00 PM and be clearly marked “Expression of Interest for position of …………………………”. In addition, the applicants are requested to submit workable soft copy of the CV to facilitate the evaluation of received EOI.
