| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Foundation cum Geo-Technical Engineer: Prepare and assist the team of consultants and the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) to Detail Engineering Design, Detailed Cost Estimate, Construct and Supervision of important bridges on rural roads at different location of our country with specified technical standards, quality and timeframe. (Detailed in ToR). |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

• Minimum B. Sc in Civil Engineering from any Government accredited University.
• At least 15 (Fifteen) years of overall experiences, out of which 10 (Ten) years relevant experience in designing and supervision of Sub-structure of large PC/RCC Girder Bridge.
• Knowledge and practical experience in designing of PC girder bridges over large river and also experience in supervision of bridge construction works. (Detailed in ToR).

Duration of Service (Months):60 (Sixty). The Project Director, The Construction of Important Bridges on Rural Roads (Phase-II) project now invites eligible Applicants to apply for the positions. Applicants are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (complete CV with other details as required). The consultants will be selected in accordance with the selection of Individual Consultants procedures. A copy of the Terms of References (TOR’s), Request for Application (RFA) and necessary forms may be obtained from the office of the undersigned during 09.00 to 15.00 hours till 11/01/2023 and on website of LGED (www.lged.gov.bd) and within the stipulated date. |
