| Brief Description of Assignment |

The approved projectentitled“Modernization and Capacity Enhancement of REB Network (Dhaka-MymensinghDivision)”funded by World Bank (WB), GoB and Own Fund ofBangladesh Rural Electrification Board (REB).
The main objectives of the project:
1) To upgrade and enhance 2220 MVA capacity of rural electrical distribution network to meet-up increasing demand.
2) Access an un-interruptible, reliable, affordable & efficient power supply to 17.80 million connected consumers for achieving the reliability & sustainability of the distribution system.
3)The Reduction of system loss from 8.28% to 7.78% and SAIDI from 1272 minutes/consumer to 935 minutes/ consumer of the Dhaka-Mymensingh divisions.

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

1. The Consulting Firms should have at least 20 years experience in Electrical Consulting services of distribution system and have a full-fledged staff set-up that will be capable of doing the work.
2. The firm must have financial capability to handle the services of the similar activities and yearly turn over is at least 25 lacs in last 05 (Five) years.
3. The Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (REB) now invites expression of Interest (EOI) from eligible Consulting firm/ consortium (National) for above mentioned Package under “Modernization and Capacity Enhancement of REB Network (Dhaka-Mymensingh Division)” Project to indicate their interests in providing the services. The following criteria will be followed for short-listing.
a) Establishment of the firm
b) Qualification of the firm
c) Availability of the key staff
d) Physical resources
e) Experience in power distribution system
f) Overall experience
g) Specific experience

The expression of interest (EOI) of each Package must be submitted separately in three sets (one original set andtwosets of photocopy) in hard copy on or before the specified date & time to the office of undersigned, The proposals (applications) will be opened on 02/01/2023 at 3:00 PM Bangladesh local time in presence of the representatives of the EOI applicant (if any). The firm will be short-listed in accordance with the "Public Procurement Regulation (PPR)-2008.
