Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) for Selection of Individual Consultant
The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA) – a member of the World Bank Group – for financing the cost of the Enhancing Digital Government and Economy (EDGE) Project, being implemented by the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC). BCC intends to apply part of the IDA Credit for procuring the services for consulting services to be procured under the project. |

Project Manager/Specialist - Digital Economy Skill Development
? Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
? Degree/ Diploma/ Certification in Human Resource Development will be given preference ? 10 years of general experience out of which 5 years of experience in training management
? Proven working experience in forming and managing partnership with Government, Academia and Industry Stakeholders in home and abroad
? Solid organizational and multitasking skills
? Excellent ICT & computer skills.
? Strong communication skills in presenting, discussing, and resolving difficult issues.
? Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
? The duration of the assignment will be 48 (forty-eight) person-months. However, the duration of the assignment may be increased or reduced according to project needs and budget.
Project Manager/Specialist 1 - Digital Leadership Academy
? Bachelor degree in Computer Science /Information Technology/Engineering or any other discipline. ? 10 years of general experience out of which 5 years in the ICT sector.
? Proven working experience in emerging technology training curriculum design and content evaluation
? Experience in digital transformation will be given priority
? Working experience in digital government best practices, standards and policies for the public sector will be given preference
? Solid organizational and multitasking skills
? Excellent ICT & computer skills.
? Strong communication skills in presenting, discussing, and resolving difficult issues.
? Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Enhancing Digital Government and Economy (EDGE) Project now invites eligible applicants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Applicants are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (complete CV with details as required). The consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in World Bank’s Procurement Regulation for IPF Borrowers (July 2016, Revised November 2017, August 2018 and November 2020).
Interested applicants may obtain the Terms of Reference (TOR) from the office of the EDGE Project during office hours or download from the website www.bcc.gov.bd.
Expressions of Interest (EOI) must be submitted in written form in the address below (in person or by mail or by e-mail) by December 27, 2022, within 2.00 PM and be clearly marked “Expression of Interest for position of ………………….”. In addition, the applicants are requested to submit workable soft copy of the CV to facilitate the assessment of received EOI.
