INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |

The Consultant will require to perform the following activities independently and perfectly:
• Should Work as VAT Consultant of BTCL. Preparation and submission of VAT return and completion of VAT assessment;
• To monitor the pending VAT cases and withholding VAT return compliance. Preparation of VAT related appeal in VAT Appellate Tribunal in NBR, Bangladesh;
• To ensure participation in all types of VAT related hearing and VAT Appellate Tribunal in NBR, Bangladesh;
• To update information to BTCL management regarding VAT, VAT cases and VAT cases related appeal and tribunal;

The applicant shall be a Bangladeshi national who meet the following Educational and Experience criteria:
• Master's degree from Business Faculty/ L.L.B From any Recognized University Should be certified /Enlisted By Bangladesh National Board of Revenue as VAT Practitioner;
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the relevant filed;
• Should have good knowledge in company Laws;
• Should have work experience in any company whose yearly turnover is at least 500 crore Taka ( all documents need to be attached);
• FCA /FCMA Degree will be considered as additional Qualification;
• Lawyers enlisted in Supreme Court appellate division with VAT Practitioner’s experience will get preference;
• Age limit should be 62 ( Sixty Two) Years

The interested individual may collect the Standard Request for Application (RFA) document after paying Tk 1,500 (One Thousand Five hundred) Only (non-refundable) from the office of the undersigned and submit the filled in application with required documents in sealed envelope clearly bearing the name and address of the applicant, EOI number and be addressed to the authority issuing the EOI in 3 (three) hard copies- one marked as “Original” and two as “Copy” and one soft copy in CD/Pen drive within the date and time stipulated above at the office of the Official inviting the EOI. |
