INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
i) Brief Description of Assignment for buildings are as follows:
a) Conduct site Analysis and Topographic Surveys, Soil test, Preparation of preliminary architectural design, drawing and other related works for construction of two storied telecom buildings at Sabrang, Naf Tourism Park, Srihatta, Sonadia and Jamalpur Economic Zone (5 Sites) and each Economic Zone for Sub-Station, Generator, Garage, Boundary walls, Approach road with necessary earth filling & other BTCL related works.
b) Preparation of Detailed Architectural & Structural Design, drawing, detail design with Specification for all types of utilities, fire alarms and other related works etc as required.
c) Preparation of detailed Bill of Quantities (BoQ), Cost Estimation and Tender document with Detailed Specification for all above works.
d) Supervision during construction period.
ii) Brief Description of Assignment for OSP (Outside Plant) are as follows:
a) Survey, Layout plan, Design, Drawing and other related works for Optical Outside Plant (OSP) work for (1) Access network for 25,00,000 lines (5000X 5 Sites) (2) Backbone OSP [Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) Route from Cox's Bazar to Sabrang- 86 km, Teknaf to Sabrang 22 km, Teknaf to Naf Tourism Park- 1 km, Moheshkhali to Sonadia EZ 23 km, Jamalpur to Jamalpur EZ- 5 km and other routes as needed to estblish OFC connectivity in 5 EZs]
b) Preparation of details Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Cost Estimation and Tender document.
c) Supervision during construction period.

Interested consulting firms shall have the following qualification:
a) Minimum 10 years experience in consultancy services for civil works. Consultancy experience in Out-site Plant (OSP) shall be preferred.
b) Experience of completion of 2(Two) similar assignments in last 5(five) years.
c) The firm must have sufficient professionals with technical and managerial capabilities and availability of required supports staffs to carry out the assignment.
d) The applicant shall be required to provide the following key Personnel for the Project at least
1. Team Leader - Minimum 12 years experience
2. Architect - Minimum 7 years experience.
3. B.Sc Engineer Civil - Minimum 12 years experience.
4. B.Sc Engineer Electrical/Telecom - Minimum 7 years experience.
5. Site Engineer (Civil) - Minimum 10 years experience.
6. Site Engineer (Electrical) - Minimum 10 years experience.
7. Supporting staff as required.
The aforesaid criteria shall be considered to assess EOI’s. The interested consulting firm have to submit all types of documents for evidence and assessment.

The interested Firm shall submit its company profile and other relevant information in prescribed Format (Form–A) which can be collected from the Project Office during office hours. The form can also be downloaded from following web address www.btcl.com.bd/tender. Expression of Interest (EOI) shall be submitted in sealed envelope clearly bearing the name and address of the applicant, EOI number and be addressed to the authority issuing the EOI in 02(two) hard copies- one marked as “Original” and another as “Copy” and one soft copy in Pen drive within the date and time stipulated above at the office of the Official inviting the EOI. Consultant will be selected in accordance the Public Procurement Rules-2008. |
