| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Directorate General of Food under Ministry of Food Consulting firm comprising of an adequate number of civil, electrical, mechanical, social and environmental experts for a) preparation of detailed drawing and design calculation with cost estimate for Bill of Quantities (BoQ) based on tendering process for all civil works and electro mechanical equipment; b) Supervision of civil construction, installation and commissioning of electro-mechanical equipment; c) Preparation of prequalification and bidding documents; d) updating and reviewing of design an BoQ during project implementation; e) Monitoring and evaluation of the project impact ; f) Preparation and Implementation of EIA, SMP and EMP etc. |

Directorate General of Food now invites eligible and qualified consulting Firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the indented services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.
The shorting listing criteria are:
1. The Consulting Firm(s) must have 5 (five) years experience in preparation of detailed drawing and design of grain Silos; preparation of cost estimates Electro-mechanical equipment, and Bill of Quantities (BoQ) of Civil Works; Preparation of Tender documents, Preparation & Implementation of EIA, SMP, EMP etc;
2. 5 (five) years experience in similar assignment of Supervision services of a complete project like Modern Steel or Concrete Grain Silos/Food processing plant/Automatic Rice Mill cum Paddy Silo etc. with public project/programs or development projects;
3. Brochure of the Firm(s)
4. 5 (five) years General and overall experience of the Consulting Firms;
5. List of Resources with logistic supports and list of professional employees with key qualifications;
6. Company Registration and Financial statement (last year);
7. Audited financial reports for last 3 (three) years;
8. Age of the Firm shall be at least 10 (ten) years;
9. Bank solvency providing financial and managerial capacity;
10. Project completion certificate from clients for similar projects.

The Expression of Interest (EOI) must be submitted in 2 (two) sets 1(one) original & 1(one) copy in written duly enveloped on or before the specified date and time to the office of the undersigned. The consultants will be selected in accordance with Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method following Public Procurement Act (PPA), 2006 & Public Procurement Rules (PPR), 2008. Consulting Firm(s) in the form of a Joint Venture or a sub-consultancy or Association are also encouraged to participate in the EOI as per PPR,2008 under clause-54. The details will be provided in the Terms of References (TOR). Short listing will be made in accordance with PPR, 2008 under clause-115. Only short-listed consulting firm(s) will be qualified for participating in RFP for the consultancy services. Interested applicants may obtain further information from the undersigned during office hour (9.00 AM to 5.00 PM). |
