| Brief Description of Assignment |

I. Provide theoretical structure of Bangladesh economy in a medium term macroeconomic framework, which will be used to forecast major macroeconomic variables under different policy scenario. The output of the model will be used for macroeconomic policy analysis for the government.
II. Develop a macroeconomic model based on the theoretical structure of Bangladesh economy in a medium term macroeconomic framework.
III. Assist in the development of a macroeconomic forecasting model to produce reliable forecasting values for policymaking.
IV. Develop the IT platform for the macroeconomic forecasting model to produce reliable forecasting values for policymaking.
V. Provide theoretical structure of Bangladesh economy in a medium term macroeconomic framework, which will be used to forecast major macroeconomic variables under different policy scenario. The output of the model will be used for macroeconomic policy analysis for the government

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

I. Master’s degree in economics from a renowned University
II. Master’s degree in econometrics/economics from a renowned University
III. Master’s degree in Statistics or Data Science
IV. Graduation in Computer Science/Engineering, Information System or related subject
V. Master’s degree in economics from a renowned University
VI. Master’s degree in econometrics/economics from a renowned University
VII. Bachelor’s degree in economics from a renowned University
I. Minimum 15 years of experience in economics related field. Extensive knowledge in Macroeconomic modeling (at least 10 years) is essential.
II. Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, and must have a comprehensive understanding of the core principles in economics, statistics, and econometrics. Extensive knowledge in econometric modeling (at least 10 years) is essential. Proficiency in statistical and econometric package (such as eViews, Stata, Matlab or R), Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is also required.
III. Minimum 15 years experience in relevant fields with broad knowledge of statistical methods and applications/development of a macroeconomic forecasting model. Strong programming experience in the statistical packages (Such as Stata, R, SAS, SPSS etc.) is essential
IV. Minimum 10 years’ experience in the IT field. Experience in developing and implementing IT systems for government organization, preferably in financial management sector is required. Relevant certifications in security and technology is also essential.
V. Minimum 10 years of experience in economics-related field with extensive knowledge in Macroeconomic modeling (at least 5 years)
VI. Minimum 10 years professional experience and must have an intuitive understanding of the core principles in economics, statistics, and econometrics. Extensive knowledge in econometric modeling (at least 5 years) is essential. Proficiency in statistical and econometric package (such as eViews, Stata, Matlab or R), Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is also required
