| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Selected firm will be responsible for the following activities:
• Preparation of a draft to amend the ‘Noise Pollution Control Rules 2006’;
• Conduct Consultation meetings to seek the views of stakeholders and experts;
• Preparation of final draft on the basis of stakeholders and experts opinion;
• To exchange views with the concerned Ministry, Parliamentary Committee;
• Preparation of concept and detailed work plan to amendment of Noise Pollution Control Rules 2006;
• Preparation of drafts subject to amendment of laws and rules regarding Noise Pollution within 06 months of contract signing;
• Conduct consultation meetings to seek the views of stakeholders and experts on the draft within 07 months of contract signing;
• Preparation of final draft on the basis of everyone’s opinion and submission if draft final within 08 months of contract signing;
• To exchange views with the concerned Ministry, Parliamentary Committee within 10 months of contract signing;
• Submission of final draft on the basis of concerned Ministry, Parliamentary Committee within 12 months of contract signing.
• Required team composition for this assignment is i) Team Leader, ii) Law Expert, iii) Sound Engineering Specialist. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
• Applicant organization must have at least 5 years in formulating act and rules and amendment of act and rules activities;
• Preference will be given to organizations with prior work experience with the Department of Environment;
• Work experience with national and international organizations;
• The chief consultant and other members of the team should be experienced in the relevant work. |
